May St Dental Centre in East Fremantle was established in 1995. The purpose built premises is spacious and modern yet compliments the street scape of East Fremantle. Our staff are dedicated and have been with the practice for long periods of time. The team consists of receptionists, chair-side assistants, two hygienists, and two dentists, Justin and Mark.
We understand how important your teeth are to your health, your appearance and your self-confidence. In our practice there are no one-size-fits-all solutions; our team of dental professionals spend time with each patient finding out what matters to you and customizing treatments to meet your individual needs.
Our team genuinely love dentistry, interacting with our patients, and making a difference to the way you look and feel. We:
Having graduated from UWA dental school in 1995, Justin has attained expertise and knowledge over the past 23 years both in Perth and Sydney, where he met his wife.
He has had dental practices in Thornlie and Canning Vale and is now settled at May Street Dental Centre.
Justin is an avid believer in continuing education, keeping up to date with the latest in the arts and science of dentistry. He is also enthusiastic about teaching and has mentored a number of dentists throughout his career.
He is confident in all aspects of dentistry and has a bit of a reputation for his expertise in wisdom teeth removal.
He is passionate about providing the highest standard of care with compassion and understanding to deliver a more pleasant dental experience for his patients.
Justin enjoys spending his days off with his wonderful wife and kids. He loves Star Wars and anything Star Wars related, and has a passion for fast cars.
Born in Perth, he graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1988. For two years he was based in Port Hedland with the Dental Health Services where his responsibility was to provide dental services to remote communities. This included mining towns and Aboriginal communities.
In 1995 he purchased a practice from the retiring Dr George Neuman and his wife Gita in Palmyra. Within six months he had moved the practice to its current location in May St East Fremantle. He still treats the original patients of Dr George and Gita Neuman and thanks them for the word of mouth referrals that built up the practice to what it is today.
Continued education has always been of primary importance in Mark's career. In more recent times there has been a greater emphisis in Implant dentistry, and of great interest, the interrelationship of oral health and general health.
Married for over 24years and with two children, his family has lived in the Bicton and East Fremantle area since 1997. When ever he's not at the practice or with his family, he enjoys hitting the mountain bike tracks, and early morning exercising with friends in the area and down at Port Beach.
Many of the patients of May St Dental Centre will remember Natalie from when she previously worked here for many years. At the time she left the practice, so many of our loyal patients were upset. Now she's back and the natural order of things has been restored! Natalie will ensure that your maintenance and treatment appointments are organised in the most efficient way.
Lynda has been with us since 2005. She graduated from Curtin University with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene 1996 and commenced working in private practice in 1997, in both rural and inner city practices. Lynda's main focus in her work is prevention and early detection of dental conditions. Any spare moment in the practice, Lynda can be found spending time on her continuing education courses.
As a mother of two young children, Lynda is passionate about establishing good dental habits in children from a young age. Away from the practice she enjoys spending time with family and friends and participating in various sports.
Anita completed her Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Therapy in 2016. Although only recently graduated, she brings with her a knowledge base from being in the dental profession for over 17 years.
Maureen has been with the practice for over 20 years. She has been here "through thick and thin". Looking after patient's needs in treatment and keeping the clinical necessities running smoothly. Having raised a big family (four children), she knows how to be organised.
The newest addition to our team. You will come across Amy on the phone, at reception or helping out chair-side with your treatment. She is learning all the ropes! She is kind, gentle, and very considerate. We are lucky to have her on board!
